Established by AFC Gamma, a real-estate investment trust, the Foundation will choose charities in the states that AFC does business—currently 15 and growing. AFC is committed to giving back to communities nationwide.

CHARITY HIGHLIGHT
Pennsylvania CASA
The Pennsylvania Court Appointed Special Advocates Association (PA CASA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 to grow, strengthen, and unite local CASA programs so they can ensure the safety, well-being, and forever home for every abused and/or neglected child in Pennsylvania.

Robyn Tannenbaum
President and Director
Robyn Tannenbaum is a champion of giving back to the community. Mrs. Tannenbaum enjoys animal conservation and supports the Palm Beach Zoo. She supports The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the Center for Children’s Advocacy in Connecticut. As a member of the AFC Foundation board, Mrs. Tannenbaum knows how giving back can make communities stronger and safer. She enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with her family.
James Velgot
Secretary and Director of Outreach
James Velgot is an artiste and patron of the arts. Mr. Velgot has created countless works of art and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Pratt Institute in Design and Visual Communications. He supports Adam’s House Connecticut which helps children cope with the loss of a loved one through art. His favorite activity is golfing with his son and traveling with his wife.
Edwin Gomez
Treasurer and Director
Edwin Gomez is a humanitarian who supports food banks in his home country of Colombia. Mr. Gomez also gives back to clothing drives that provide clothing to those in need. He loves spending time with his family and coaching his son’s soccer and basketball games.
